Paul's has over 29 years of professional horticulture experience. At the beginning of his career he worked in different areas of growing for 13 years where he focused on simplifying cultural practices, increasing crop quality and decreasing production losses. Next, he was self employed for 15 years as a horticultural consultant and contract researcher, and Paul recently returned to his passion of growing and is currently working as the Director of Growing at Opel Growers in Hudsonville, Michigan.

Opel Growers, INC. is a family owned wholesale greenhouse/nursery located in Hudsonville, Michigan since 1987. We have 5 acres of production and warehouse space along with several contract growers specializing in supplying quality perennials to independent retailers, farm markets and garden centers throughout the Midwest.
Opel Growers produces high quality perennials, groundcover, ornamental grasses, vines and other seasonal specialty items. Our specialty items include: herbs, hanging baskets and fall mums. We offer reliable delivery on our own trucks.
