Description:  What you can't see can hurt your bottom line! This talk focuses on several diseases that impact hemp, providing a brief overview on how to distinguish between and diagnose the more common cannabis disease problems, followed by key strategies to manage these problems. These strategies will integrate different tactics (e.g., sanitation, cultural and chemical controls) for outdoor and greenhouse grown hemp to help you Stop the Rot.

    Janna Beckerman, PhD, 

    Professor at Purdue University 

    Janna Beckerman is a professor and extension plant pathologist specializing in diseases of horticultural crops at Purdue University. Her research and extension programs cover everything from apples to hemp to zinnia, and she teaches a graduate level course on “Plant Disease Diagnosis”. She has developed five apps on plant pest diagnosis that are available in the iTunes and Google Play stores, and can be found at www.purdueplantdoctor.com
