Water Quality Problems and Solutions

This session will summarize the major issues with water quality based on the common source waters. We will also discuss diagnosing source water quality issues and the different management solutions for the major problems. Solutions will range from easy, cheap, or free resources to the more advanced and expensive options for each topic.

                



    Byran Fuhrmann, Aquatic Technology Development Scientist at SePRO  
    Byran is the aquatic technology development scientist at SePRO Corporation where he focuses on developing products to improve water quality. He is the president of the California Lake Management Society and a board member of the American Water Works Association Source Water Protection Committee. Byran has a BS in Chemistry, an MBA, an MS in Environmental Engineering Sciences, and a PhD in Environmental Systems. He is passionate and fascinated with the intersection between lake water quality, water treatment operations, and how it all impacts greenhouse operations.
