Shannon is what some would call a detail-oriented, idea woman with an on-track vision for success. She has helped local and national organizations win business and reach relevant audiences through strategic public relations and marketing campaigns since 2006.
After receiving a marketing degree from the University of Dayton, Shannon worked for nearly a decade at Reputation Management Associates (RMA), a nationally-recognized communications consulting firm. During her tenure at RMA, she traveled the country to help clients learn to use the news media to their advantage and quickly became the “jill” of all trades, leading key accounts for the organization.
Shannon specializes in business-to-consumer marketing for credit unions, community banks, insurance companies, nonprofits, higher education, construction, and food and farming industries.
She has successfully garnered hundreds of news story placements and led effective public relations and social media campaigns to grow her clients' offline and online communities to reach millions of customers.
Shannon was named to Columbus Business First’s “Forty Under 40” Class of 2017. She is an active member of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) of Columbus, and in 2014 was awarded the President’s Award for her outstanding contributions to the organization. Shannon is also a proud Skimm'bassador.
In her free time, Shannon enjoys traveling, volunteering, event planning, live music and creating (and singing) amateur songs with her guitarist husband, Doug. Shannon resides in Columbus, Ohio.
