Session Title: Lean Flow in Sales and Marketing

Sunday, July 11  4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Description:  Lean Flow has had a lot of success on the production floor, but not many people think about applying it to the Sales and Marketing department. In this session, learn about rationalizing your products and customers. How about your cut-off times to your customers? Will you take an order at any cost, just to make a sale? You may be increasing your top line, but reducing your bottom line margins. Learn how applying Lean Flow techniques in sales and marketing will increase your margins and profitability.

Session Title: Load Consolidation Program that Helps Growers and Retailers

Tuesday, July 13  9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

Description:  As transportation costs continue to increase, load consolidation is becoming more crucial for both growers and garden retail. Consolidating loads from multiple growers can help reduce your transportation and logistical cost by spreading it across multiple growers and the customer also saves money by receiving full loads instead of multiple LTL (less than truckload) shipments.
