Emily Showalter, Chief of HR / Chief Operations Officer at Willoway Nurseries, Inc.
I have grown up in the green industry and am a third generation owner at Willoway Nurseries. I have been fortunate to have worked in and among many different parts of our family business and currently am the Chief of Human Resources and the Chief Operations Officer at our sister company, Premier Plant Solutions. I graduated from THE Ohio State University with a Bachelor's degree, have obtained a certificate degree from Texas A&M through the EAGL program, and recently completed the Goldman Sach's 10,000 Small Businesses program at Cuyahoga Community College. Being involved in our green industry associations is very important to me and I am proud to have served on the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association (now Ohio Green Industry Association) Board of Directors twice, of which my last term included serving as the President of the Association.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my children, Scarlet age 7 & Grayson age 9, and husband of 12 years, Steve. We like traveling, playing and watching sports, and enjoying the outdoors. We are also one of the biggest Buckeye Fan families you will ever meet.

Willoway Nurseries, Inc. is one of the largest wholesale growers of quality nursery stock in the midwest and ranks within the top 40 nationwide. Willoway encompasses approximately 550 acres of field production and 450 acres of container stock which includes 32 acres of climate controlled greenhouses. We carry over 2,000 different plant varieties including shade trees, ornamental trees and shrubs, evergreens, perennials, and flowering annuals.
