Developed in Texas, Morning Suns vibrant orange-red leaves add color and contrast. Throughout the year, older leaves turn amber red before dropping, adding even more color interest. The plant will loose about 25% of its foliage in the cooler months of the year, but for the most part is evergreen. Bloom sprays are creamy white, appearing in spring and summer, and are followed by bluish-purple fruit in humid regions of the United States. On the west coast, little or no fruit has been observed.
