Session Title:   Help Your Plants Weather the Weather: Improving Plant Stress Tolerance in Container-Nursery Production

Saturday, July 10  10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Description:Plants are subject to a range of stresses throughout production and, just like us, these stresses can adversely affect their health and performance. Clearly, in outdoor production we cannot control the weather, but we can enhance plant resilience by using various biological inputs. This presentation will review some of the available products, the different benefits they can provide, and some key considerations to their effective use.

Level: Fundamental     Type: Growing

Session Title: Mycorrhizae and Other Biostimulants: Optimizing Efficacy for Greenhouse Crops

Session Title: Growing Greenhouse Hemp Using Biologicals? Of Course!

Description: ON DEMAND

Although regulations around what can and cannot be used to manage pests and diseases in hemp differ across the US, there are many shared production issues. Biocontrol agents (BCAs) and biopesticides are effectively used in other greenhouse crops and can work well in hemp, but success requires their being applied in the right place, at the right time, and in the right manner. This presentation will focus on the implementation of functional IPM programs incorporating biopesticides, BCAs, and supporting strategies in greenhouse hemp production.

This is a Hemp Conference at Cultivate on-demand session. Access to this session is included in your Hemp Conference registration.

Level: Intermediate      Type: Growing
