Our Story --- What evolved into Moose River Media started in 1987 as a partnership between two friends in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of St. Johnsbury, VT (www.discoverstjvt.com). By 1998 we were ready to grow the company to the next level and sold what was then called Moose River Publishing to a Boston-based venture capital company. After several successful years of growth, we were acquired in 2005 by a private equity firm located in Long Island, NY. In 2013 we were acquired by Grand View Media Group (www.gvmg.com), a wholly-owned subsidiary of EBSCO Industries Inc. (www.ebscoind.com) headquartered in Birmingham, AL.
